How to use keyword. An important topic. The first thing you must do is make sure the keyword you intend to use is actually used by people when using Google.

You may think that you have a great title for a blog post or web page but if no one is using it,then you are not going to rank on Google or any other search engine.

Take the title of this post.Notice I used the single “keyword” not the plural. Why?Because a free Google tool told me the single version is used more often than the plural.

The tool in question is the Google Adwords Keyword tool which you can find here

Just type in the word you want to use Google will give the monthly search figures for that and other words that closely match it.You may find a word or phrase you had not thought of ,but is used more often.

You need that keyword phrase in the first sentence of your body text, and perhaps one more near the end.But don’t overdo it or it will look like keyword spamming and Google will penalise you with a low search result ranking. You can find more great advice on keyword research by reading this blog post by Renegade Super Guide Marie Leonard

If you have a blog then make sure you install the All in One SEO Pack to you blog which you can find here this allows you to change the title of the blog to something more appealing to the search engines.

The content of the blog remains unaltered but you get an even better chance of high ranking.

So do your keyword research first before writing your post.

Your partner is success.

Avoiding Overwhelm

When starting out in internet marketing, you are bombarded with gurus from all angles telling you what you should be doing.making videos, posting blogs, posting on forums, writing ezine articles.Where do you start?

Having gone through this process myself, the important thing is to focus on just a few key areas and not try to spread yourself too thinly.Right now social media is very hot so get your profile up on Twitter, facebook,Myspace and YouTube.

If you don’t have a blog at this time drive people to a funded proposal such as Mike Dillard’s Magnetic Sponsoring or Ann Sieg’s Renegade University

You will get leads this way.

The second thing to make sure of is have a set time each day when you will work on your business,no more than 90 minutes at a time without distractions. In particular resist the urge to check your email constantly.Do it twice a day and not before 12 noon.

In between these 90 bursts do something kinesthetic such as going for a run or walk, anything that get you moving.

Do meditation as least twice a day, just for 10 minutes each if you are starting out,it will clear your mind.

Ensure all that you do has the end of putting valuable content out there. This will make you a person of INFLUENCE and people will be attracted to you.

Do this now.
