What is Your Path to Wealth Profile?

Posted: May 2nd, 2011 | Author: | Filed under: Internet Marketing, Personal Growth | Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , | No Comments »

We all want greater wealth in our lives, and by wealth I don’t just mean money but the wealth of happiness that comes from doing what we love and  benefiting others.

One way of increasing our wealth is to look at people who have made it and then copy what they do.We could read the biographies of people like Richard Branson or Bill Gates and draw inspiration from them. The trouble is we will only succeed ourself if our wealth profile is the same as the person we are seeking to emulate.

We could take Gates and someone  like Warren Buffet and see they are two totally different people yet both have amassed huge wealth.Which one do we follow?Well to answer that we need to discover our own wealth dynamic.

This could take along time  but  fortunately Roger Hamilton of Wealth Dynamics has done all the work for us.

He has created the wealth dynamics test and you can take it yourself now by clicking here.

In the test Roger identifies differing types of entrepreneur and gives example of each.Bill Gates in a Creator,Warren Buffet is The Accumulator Sergey Brin is the Lord to name but a few.

Until you know what your wealth dynamic is you could be spending years trying to build a business that is not suited to you unique talents.Find the right one and you could accumulate wealth very quickly.

So I invite you to take a short test, to discover your wealth profile which could knock years off your path to riches.

I took it myself and found that I am a Lord! A Lord is someone who accumulates wealth by leveraging assets they do not necessarily control such as photo distribution.Someone else takes the photo and remains the copyright holder but the Lord sells it on via the internet and keeps a small commission.

If you are a great inventor of things then you will be a Creator like Gates.By taking the test you will learn not only your own profile but also what are the greatest strengths and weaknesses of that profile. This will be of massive use in helping you decide the people that need to be around you for your business to grow.

So take the test now. .It will only take about 20 minutes and your profile will be emailed to you.

Let me know how you get on and what your profile is.

How to find joint venture partners

Posted: March 27th, 2011 | Author: | Filed under: Internet Marketing | Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , | No Comments »

If you have created a product then you need affiliates or joint venture partners to promote it.You may have you own substantial list but how much better your sales will be if you leverage off others who have bigger lists.

This is the world of joint ventures and in the "make money online " niche there are lots of them. There are even websites where people who have products to launch meet with people who are willing to promote that product to their list.

Two that I know of are http://www.jv-network.com

and http://www.jvnotifypro.com/

These sites notify you of all current launches or pre launches in the internet marketing niche and a few other non IM niches. Before you launch your first product it's a good idea to become an affiliate of a launch to see how it works.

First there is the pre launch phase. All launches now have a specific time and day,to allow a sense of excitement and build up to be created.

Get in with products that are in pre launch so you can grab the swipe files banners and email messages. Then start promoting the product to your list.At the same time build a blog about the product and start creating back links to it by writing articles ,recording videos, and commenting in social media.

Once you have learnt the craft from the affiliates side you know how to support your affiliates when launching your products.

Watch out for my next blog post when I will talk about how to approach specific JV partners when you are in pre launch.

How do you approach JV partners? Leave your comments below.

Selling your own products

Posted: June 29th, 2010 | Author: | Filed under: Internet Marketing | Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , | 2 Comments »

When starting your own online business you will probably not have your own product so the next best thing to do is sell a product made by others. If you sell you get a commission. This is affiliate marketing.

As you build your list of email subscribers you can then move to Private Lable Rights or PLR products which are information products that someone else has written but which you can change and then sell as if you had written them.

These tend to be ebooks of 20-30 pages in length. You set the price and you get all on the money not 50% as is the case with most affiliate products.

My experience is that you offer one PLR product for sales and then have a pop up lightbox appear on your sales page after 10 seconds, which offers another PLR product for free. You will get many more email subscribers grabbing your free ebook than buying your paid product.BUT you will be growing your list.

This will in time become your most valuable asset.

In the meantime grab Tony Shepperd’s freebie“Quit Your Job in 90 days” ebook. It’s what got me started.

Best Wishes

PS I’ve now sold two PLR ebooks, not many I know but all the greats started here.

Autorepsonders

Building a list is of course the most important thing if you want to make money online.

For that you will need an autoresponder.Trying to work with Outlook will just not work if you want to track conversions and avoid having your emails going straight into your reader’s junk mail folder.

All autorepsonders have a spam check which will which check your email before they go out and give the email a points score .The higher the number the greater the risk of going to the junk folder.

I have found that the quickest way to build a list is to offer a free product, usually an ebook 20 to 30 pages long.

In exchange for the ebook your reader gives you their email address and thus they get added to your list.

The best way I think to offer the ebook is with a lightbox pop up.This is a pop up which appears 10 seconds or so after your sales page is loaded. When it pops up the rest of the page darkens so the reader is compelled to read the pop up.

Keep your message short and tell them to sign up.That is your most wanted response so tell them where to put their email even though to you it’s blindingly obvious.

I would recommend Aweber as it has  great array of webforms which include pop ups that you can customize.

Once you’ve got the form you want, you copy the code and add it to you main sales page.

I would recommend a ten second delay before the pop up appears, this gives your reader time to at least scan your sales page headline before the pop up appears.

Try it and your list will grow quickly.

Best wishes

Andrew

PLR products

I have bought a year’s subscription to a Private Licencing Rights site for $97 which I think is good value,All the products are in the “make money on the internet” niche and come with a excellent sales page. This is easy to upload to my hosting service and then tweak before launching it on the internet.

Now I am using them to use as an upsell on my MLM site. This means altering the page any subscriber to my list sees after then have grabbed my free ebook. But right now I cannot configure my autoresponder so it redirects to the right page. This may be because the java script I loaded which generates the pop up window overrides the autoresponder  commands.

I am now investigating this with the guy who wrote the java script files.I will keep you posted.

Get integrity around money

Posted: May 17th, 2009 | Author: | Filed under: Personal Growth | Tags: , , , , , , , , | No Comments »

I made this video ,the third of a series I am making about our relationship with money

We need to understand the freedom that money can provide, and not become attached to it.

We need to ensure that we have integrity withe money and not allow corruption to take us over, even little petty corruptions like taking stationary from our employer. For from this grows corruption which can eventually take over a whole culture.

Finally we must show gratitude for all that we receive ,yes even for things we paid for. Think about the people involved in getting food into the supermarket for us to buy.So much was done for us but do we ever bother to give thanks.

Do it next time your are in the supermarket.

Mike Dillard’s Building on a budget

Here is a video I did on Mike’s product Building on a Budget which is great if you are needing to generate leads but money is tight. There are lots of free resources you can tap into such as Ezine articles which you can submit at Ezine.Com or press releases through 27-7Pressrelease.com.

Google Adwords is something you should stay away from at this stage because it can eat up your monthly budget in days if you don’t know what you’e doing.

Anyway here is the video, let me know what you think.

How committed are you to your business?

They say that if you treat it as a hobby then you will get hobby size cheques.

Are you willing to do what it takes to succeed? That is alot different from trying your best, for what if that is not good enough?Well at that point you will probably give up.But if you are prepared to do what it takes, then you will push through the obstacles that are bound to show up.

When I first started out in this business I had this vision of “making it” .There I would be lying on a tropical island somewhere in the Pacific with a cocktail in my hand.Mmm….I wonder how long it would be before I got bored.I realised that I am on this earth to grow and evolve, for as someone once said to me “when we die all we have left to take with us is the person we have become”.

When you go to a funeral do they talk about the deceased’s accumulation of wealth, how many cars they had?No, it was the qualities they possessed, the things and service they gave to the community.

You will have to give alot before the money shows up,that is the test to see how committed you are.For many will fall by the way side, only the true believers will continue.

But don’t fall into the trap of thinking there is some destination, some mythical wonderland. It is the journey that makes it worthwhile. You will be a better person for it.

Your partner in success
