How to find joint venture partners

Posted: March 27th, 2011 | Author: | Filed under: Internet Marketing | Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , | No Comments »

If you have created a product then you need affiliates or joint venture partners to promote it.You may have you own substantial list but how much better your sales will be if you leverage off others who have bigger lists.

This is the world of joint ventures and in the "make money online " niche there are lots of them. There are even websites where people who have products to launch meet with people who are willing to promote that product to their list.

Two that I know of are http://www.jv-network.com

and http://www.jvnotifypro.com/

These sites notify you of all current launches or pre launches in the internet marketing niche and a few other non IM niches. Before you launch your first product it's a good idea to become an affiliate of a launch to see how it works.

First there is the pre launch phase. All launches now have a specific time and day,to allow a sense of excitement and build up to be created.

Get in with products that are in pre launch so you can grab the swipe files banners and email messages. Then start promoting the product to your list.At the same time build a blog about the product and start creating back links to it by writing articles ,recording videos, and commenting in social media.

Once you have learnt the craft from the affiliates side you know how to support your affiliates when launching your products.

Watch out for my next blog post when I will talk about how to approach specific JV partners when you are in pre launch.

How do you approach JV partners? Leave your comments below.

Posted: October 2nd, 2010 | Author: | Filed under: Internet Marketing | Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , | 2 Comments »

Some of you know I follow Tony Shepherd’s Quit Your Job in 90 days/Kick Start Course and have found it to be one of the best IM training courses on the Net.

Well now he has launched a monthly newsletter service where he give even more great marketing advice. You can sign up here.

In the first newsletter Tony talks about how to build short medium and long term residual income streams so vital once you quit the 9-5 monthly paypacket scene.

Then he goes onto to show how to get into JV product launches that will seriously build your income.Selling ebooks is good but you need to be selling alot to make money out of them.

To go to the next level you must be building your list and JV-ing to create a bigger cash flow.

So this product comes with my highest recommendation.AND he throws in as a freebie a 16 video series on how to become a successful Amazon affiliate.

Best Wishes

Tracking site visitors

Posted: August 7th, 2010 | Author: | Filed under: Internet Marketing | Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , | No Comments »

The business guru Tom Peters once said “if it can be measured it can be managed”.In the context of internet marketing you need to know where your traffic is coming from and how that traffic is finding you.

Now I use three different strategies. One is to create a website using Site Build It.

This is a service that tells you everything about how to build a website from scratch even if you have no HTML knowledge. The best thing I can suggest is that you click this SBI link which tells you the benefits of this business in a box service.

Site Build It!

If that’s not for you but you want to track visitor information then you will need to install Google Analytics and/or Woopra both of which will give you immense details on your traffic. With Woopra you can even chat to people as they visit your site which may freak them out!

You will need to install code on your website blog to get traffic stats but if you have a WordPress Blog then there is a plugin for both which makes it all really easy.

Let me know if you need any help.

Best Wishes

Internet Marketing Forums

A good way to get information on internet marketing is to sign up to forums .These forums are the places where you start to ask questions but in time as your knowledge grows, you can become the person who answers the questions.
In this way people start to see your leadership qualities and this is where you can start to monitize either through your own products or by people joining your business ,be it direct sales or MLM.These forums are a great place to brand yourself.

So where are these forums?

Well the daddy of them all is Warriorforums.com You will be mixing with some really big earners here.Read posts about SEO,copywriting,Adsense. If you have technical questions there are people here who are experts on HTML and CCS.

For an extra, one time only $37 you will get access to the War Room the inner sanctum where the really great content can be found. No pitching and spamming here, just pure gold.

Next BetterNetworker.com which is primarily aimed at the MLM business but again there are some top experts here in the areas of PPC and SEO.You can create your own profile and then start reading the forums.Again this is a great way of building your own brand. You can link with others on the forum.Who knows some may join your business in the future.

This forum is linked to Magneticsponsoring where you can become an affiliate of Mike Dillard’s attraction marketing products such as Building on a Budget and Black Belt Recruiting.Yet another source of income for you.

Robert Kiyosaki he of Rich Dad Poor Dad fame has a forum atRichDad.com full of people looking to build an online business. So start hanging there and help people out.

That is the key,to learn and to teach at the same time.Remember you just need to know a little more than people starting out in internet marketing and you be regarded as an expert. So don’t worry if you think you don’t know enough to teach, read a book and you do know more.Teach that knowledge to others.

What forum do you hang out on and why?

Leave a comment and let us all know.

Avoiding Overwhelm

Posted: May 21st, 2009 | Author: | Filed under: Internet Marketing, Personal Growth | Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , | No Comments »

When starting out in internet marketing, you are bombarded with gurus from all angles telling you what you should be doing.making videos, posting blogs, posting on forums, writing ezine articles.Where do you start?

Having gone through this process myself, the important thing is to focus on just a few key areas and not try to spread yourself too thinly.Right now social media is very hot so get your profile up on Twitter, facebook,Myspace and YouTube.

If you don’t have a blog at this time drive people to a funded proposal such as Mike Dillard’s Magnetic Sponsoring or Ann Sieg’s Renegade University

You will get leads this way.

The second thing to make sure of is have a set time each day when you will work on your business,no more than 90 minutes at a time without distractions. In particular resist the urge to check your email constantly.Do it twice a day and not before 12 noon.

In between these 90 bursts do something kinesthetic such as going for a run or walk, anything that get you moving.

Do meditation as least twice a day, just for 10 minutes each if you are starting out,it will clear your mind.

Ensure all that you do has the end of putting valuable content out there. This will make you a person of INFLUENCE and people will be attracted to you.

Do this now.
