Building Self Worth

If you are just starting out in a home based business, you may think you don’t know very much.It seems everyone else knows more than you,so what contribution do you have to make?

This period is very important for you so don’t be in a rush to get past it.Because the thing you will develop at this stage is the will to NEVER GIVE UP

There is a story about Winston Churchill who gave an address to the boys of Harrow school in 1941.The myth is that he got up and said these words:

“Never give in. Never give in. Never, never, never, never–in nothing, great or small, large or petty–never give in, except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force. Never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy.”

After that he just sat down. The truth is he said quite a bit more, put you get the point.

Many businesses fail in their first 12 months.Don’t let yours be one of them. This is probably the hardest part of the whole business cycle, getting airborne, getting altitude.

This is the time to learn to soak up as much information as you can from those that have gone before you.

Keep focused on your long term goals AND the next action step that is in from of you.Head in the clouds and feet on the ground as they say.

Perhaps you know that Thomas Eddison invented many things still in use today. But his success was built on failure. He invented so many things that just did not work.

But rather than give up he used his failure to generate more success. If you are not failing then you are not trying hard enough.

So never give in.Another Churchill quote ” if you are going through hell keep going”.

The light on the other side will be that much brighter.

Money Mindset for home based business opportunity seeker

Check out my latest video on how our beliefs around money can have an effect on our ability to get a home based business going. If you’ve always worked as an employee,ie making someone else rich, the change to self employment will mean radical change in all aspects of your life.

So it is well to look at your beliefs around money, the ones you picked up from childhood and see if they still shape your behaviour today.

My own view is that money is just a vehicle for personal growth for you will be leaving all your wealth behind you when you die,but the person that you have become that is what people will remember.

You gotta have faith

Yes,just like the George Michael song.I just had a realisation about people who ask me :is my MLM opportunity hard to sell, how much money will I make, how good is the upline support? What they are really asking is can THEY succeed,do THEY have the skils necessary to make it.Well of course only they can answer that question.Only they can look inside themselves and see if they have what it takes.

How much do they want that freedom?Do they see they have to work for it,or are they expecting some automated system so that they can just lie in a hammock whilst the money rolls into their bank account.

If people come to you with that attitude then if I were you I would say “thanks for sharing” and wish them well.

The world is full of people who just want it all handed to them on a plate, and there are some who are willing to do what it takes, which can be so much more than”doing their best”.Doing what it takes will raise your “best” to new heights.

Don’t you want to get up there are enjoy the view?

Until next time my friends…
