Free ways to market online

July 7th, 2009 Andrew Collinson No comments

There are so many ways to market online for free. With these tools you can reach out to everybody in the world who has a computer and internet access. With video in particular people can get to know you without even meeting you.Once they know you, like you, and trust you ,then you can start to market to them. But be careful what you offer.

The most importnant part of this process is getting people to like you. They will “unlike” you very quickly if you use your social media presence to just pitch all the time.So make friends and give value first. So what are the sites that you can use?

  1. YouTube for video
  2. Myspace -social media
  3. Facebook- social media
  4. Twitter- social media
  5. Ezine articles
  6. Craigs List and Gum Tree for free classifed ads
  7. Blogs either free ones like Blogger.com ,or hosted sites with WordPress

You really have so many ways to get started so what are a you waiting for?

Have a miraculous day

Andrew

Facebook training:the basics;home and profile page

Facebook is one of the four social media sites you need to build a presence on,if you are to reach out to your audience.Facebook differs from Twitter in that if you want to follow someone, they must approve you first. With Twitter you can follow anyone without their approval.

Nonetheless,Facebook allows you to tell the world more about yourself,so that people get to know you alot better than they do on Twitter.I am doing a series of videos on Facebook explaining how to use it and how it all works. The first is shown below.
